We’re Billie and Matilda—BB and Tills—and this is our little corner of the internet.
We’re two young creatives figuring out life while living in a shed (yes, you read that right) as our parents work on building our new home- attempting to do the majority by themselves – while there busy doing that, we try to entertain ourselves by creating plays, skits, drawings and loads of other things.
This site is a space for us to share what we love—our art, words, and videos—and all the adventures, challenges, and victories- such as when we finely learn to draw something- that come with this unique chapter of our lives. Moving from the city to the countryside has been a massive change. We’re learning a new rhythm here—one that comes with wide-open spaces, lots of fresh air, and a freedom to explore who we are. we’re Lovin’ it!
so we will now tell you a little bit about ourselves. I’m Billie, the eldest. I love acting, writing, reading, and most of all… DRAGONS!!!-They are so misunderstood in lots of books I’ve read- I love Japanese culture and I am learning to draw anime.
I’m Matilda, the youngest. finds inspiration in just about everything—mud, food, pencils, or dance moves on my roller skates. Whatever it is, I’m ALWAYS in my creative zone. Just for you to know, I’m VERY energetic.
Of course, living in a shed isn’t all cupcakes and rainbows. Sharing a small space means no privacy, limited stuff , and learning how to deal with the folks . Add in the challenges of navigating severe food allergies, and some days are tough. But through it all we stick together as sisters and as a family. Creative expression has been our lifeline—whether it’s art, writing, gardening, acting or just dreaming up new ideas together.
Speaking of the garden, it’s pretty cool. We’re growing fruit and veggies that we can pick straight from it! It’s a reminder that even in this temporary, shed-sized season of life, there’s so much room to grow. thanks to dad and me, Matilda.
